It's been a while
We are no longer building saddle trees, but we have two videos about how Western saddles fit horses available on our westernsaddlefit.com website.
since I did an “around the shop today” kind of post, so here it is. I went out to the shop with the camera and just took some pictures of things, like Rod cutting out bars for the next set of four trees…

Four recently rawhided Wade trees starting to dry. The fan helps in the colder months when we can’t get them outside in the sun and wind for the first few hours.
Four metal horn fork trees a week further along in their drying. From left to right they are a 14” Hamley Roper, a 13” Norton, a 13” Will James and, partially hidden behind the post, a 12” High Country.
Deer hides made into rawhide also drying, this time on the stretching rack in the back room. It is hunting season after all, and now is when we get all the deer hide we need for lace for the whole of next year.
